How realistic is SMP?
Does SMP hurt?
SMP is much less painful than getting a regular tattoo. Feedback from previous clients is that the treatment can be mildly uncomfortable. Because pain tolerance is quite subjective, it's impossible to know how much discomfort a particular individual will experience during the procedure, however, some clients actually fall asleep during the application.

Is there any downtime with SMP?
How much does SMP cost?
No downtime is required. You will be given instructions for after-care that may limit certain activities like anything that induces sweating for 72 hours, getting it wet / washing or applying any kind of hair regrowth chemicals. The scalp will take approximately 7-10 days to fully heal.

The ink we use is non-toxic. It’s organic and is comprised of carbon, natural pigment and water. There is no danger or risk involved with SMP.

How long does SMP last?
How long your SMP lasts depends on a few variables like how well you adhere to your SMP aftercare and long-term care. Other factors that aren't within your control include your immune system's response to the treatment as well as your skin chemistry. On average most peoples SMP lasts about 3 years before a touch up is required, with some exceptions to this rule. Some of our clients might need a touch up after two years or annually, while others won't need touch ups for longer than 4 years.
